A few words about “Dirty Papa Joe” on this Father’s Day…

I’m not talking Christina Aguilera dirty either. Nobody wants to see Papa Joe writhing around in a rain shower, except maybe himself. He’s the baptist minister turned diamond stud wearing manager. And like any man he talks about sex, boobs, cleavage, and a woman’s sexy body. But oh wait, did I mention he’s talking about his little girl? This baptist minister needs to go to confessional. Yes, he’s talking about his first born, Jessica Simpson and her “gift” of virginity, her double DD’s, and her sexy body.

He was quoted in the Times as “pledging to be the central man in her [Jessica’s] life until she’s married” and he accompanied that pledge with a ‘purity ring.”  He is further quoted as saying he wanted them [Jessica & Ashley] to know that “Daddy never touched their stuff. I wanted them to always look at me with respect.” What is he talking about?! Touching them where?! Eick!

He produced the movie Blonde Ambition, which focused on Jessica’s body, blonde hair and cleveage.  Some would say he was working with her best assets, but did he forget that she actually has talent? Did he forget that she’s a singer? Probably a gifted singer, unlike the younger daughter Ashley with her lip synching irish dance debacle on Saturday Night Live a year or two ago. I’m surprised this manager turned down an offer for Jessica to be in a porno. Maybe he just doesn’t like to share her. He’s cited as the cause for Jessica’s divorce from Nick Lachey. And his meddling probably won’t end there.  He may soon be the cause for the end of her relationship with Tony Romo.

What do you give a dad that only wants his daughter?! Happy Father’s Day dirty old man!

A lot of people in the public eye who behave strangely have mental illness we can learn from, and much of it is based on childhood trauma, without a doubt. Take a guy like Tom Cruise. Why would somebody be drawn into a cultish kind of environment like Scientology? To me, that’s a function of a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect in childhood - maybe some abuse, but mostly neglect.    

Note how he says “to me,” when he describes his conclusions about Tom Cruise.  Then I guess I will add, to me, Dr. Drew, your speculation about Tom Cruise to a reporter for a major magazine is grossly unprofessional behavior… and you know damn well it is.  If you don’t, you’re an incompetent fool, and if you do… well, then Pinsky, what are you then?

I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization…  In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials,” added Heigl.

A completely unreliable source has told me that Tom Cruise has had his wife Katie Holmes shortened by 4 or so inches so that he will appear taller than her (see photo above.)

The New York Post is reporting that Leibovitz says, “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it… The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”

Yes Annie, it’s a classic portrait usually taken of a grown woman, not an underaged minor. 

 I think it’s kind of funny, in a sad way, especially the playing it off like it’s all for the sake of art and beauty (and not attention and sales/money)

 It’s hardly a secret… sex sells, especially when it involves a fifteen year old girl, who happens to be a multi-millionaire.

Let the High School Musical mania begin again!

On Monday, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens left Los Angeles International Airport together, en route to Utah, where the girls will meet up with Zacquisha to film what is (most probably) going to be the FINAL installment (with the current cast) of Disney’s High School Musical.

I don’t know much about Perez’s blog, but I have never been impressed by his doodles.  I took a look today and this was on the front page, and I thought, “nice crown.”  I look at my time spent here as penance for wrongs already committed in my life.  I’m serious people… would you want to write this stuff?  Drop me a line…  have I ever even checked the email?

Word has it that Steve-O from Jackass fame was put on psychiatric hold recently. I heard cocaine and some of his “jackass friends” were involved in having Steve-O committed.

I’m not sure how I feel about doctors having the power that our courts do to lock people up, but I sure hope Steve-O is okay and on his way to being well and free and the jackass that we all have come to know and love… from a distance anyway.
